Erica McKenna has always enjoyed drawing and doodling pictures for her friends and family. Shortly after meeting her husband, David McKenna, in 2007, she took up painting on canvas as a hobby. In 2008, a friend who owned a local business approached her with a business proposal - could she paint 'Casper the Friendly Ghost' on her store's window for her annual Halloween sale? Erica was happy to oblige! She has been painting on windows ever since then. While painting a happy birthday design for a little boy's 2nd birthday on a window, Erica was asked if she knew how to do face painting as well. "Sure, why not? That sounds like fun!" So, after purchasing a small kit of beginner's face paints, she discovered a love of painting little one's faces. With two small children of her own at home to practice on, she was quick to learn fun designs that were quick and from her children's favorite tv shows and movies. Erica is never afraid to take on a challenge, and has never been stumped on a design or a piece of artwork. She is constantly learning and growing as an artist, and has discovered this is truly her life's work.
